I purchased this to replace my department issued double handcuff case. I purchased this along with the kydex handcuff taco. I wear this on the front of my duty belt on everyday patrol. What I will say, it works really well. Its durable and holds my cuffs securely. Has no signs of wear yet however it has only been on my setup for about a month and a half. Only time will tell. My only problem with it came during a use of force incident. I had to remove my handcuffs from the case and the cover flap came completely off because of the velcro. It got lost but I found the piece but I wasn't happy that my HSGI cuff case lost the cover. Especially when the case is already priced the way it is. I understand the velcro is made for it to adjust to different size cuffs however I think that draw back is not a good one. I do recommend the cuff case, it just needs someway to keep that attached without losing it.

I purchased this and a soft taco handcuff case for everyday patrol use. I purchased it to replace my department issued nylon double handcuff case. I will say it holds the cuffs securely. Not only that the kydex material is strong and durable. It does everything my last cuff case did better. I wear it on my duty belt on my rear left side. There are two problems I am routinely having. 1. The button keeps coming loose after tightening it (no matter how many times I retighten it.) I hit it on anything and it comes loose. 2. Every time I put my cuffs into it the case tightens my cuffs. Otherwise the case has been fine.
