Vortex OPMOD Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, First Focal Plane (FFP)
I’ve been looking for a scope for my semi MK-12 clone and came across this one after doing some research. I saw mixed feedback—some people mentioned concerns about the glass quality and the shade of FDE—but I decided to give it a try anyway.
So far, I’m very impressed. The glass is clear and sharp, and I haven’t noticed any of the issues others mentioned. I recently zeroed it, and it’s holding zero without any problems. I’m shooting 5.56, so recoil isn’t extreme, but for my setup, it’s performing exactly as I hoped.
If I had to nitpick, the turret clicks could be a bit more audible. That said, they still function perfectly, and I wouldn’t consider it a real downside.
Overall, this scope feels like it’s worth more than what it costs. I’m very happy with the purchase.
