This adapter allowed me to bring an old 870 into the modern age with a modular stock. All parts included were machined well and it fit together perfectly without any hiccups.
The stock kit performed well at the range and allowed me to adjust the length of pull to where I need it to be. As I have a bigger chest, I can set it to be a little shorter, then quickly adjust it to whoever wants to use it next. The Hogue grip is great and fills my hand very nicely.
Instructions are a bit vague as they are not specifically for the 870 or this particular kit. They instead seem to be a shared instruction book with the Mossberg kit and the recoil tube adapter kit. I got mixed up with the nuts and bolts being used for the grip and adapter, but quickly found youtube video for it. The toothed washer goes on the grip screw; the split lock washer and regular washer are used for the bolt that attaches the adapter to the receiver.
