Most Helpful Positive Review Read the item name, it literally says “crimped”
Hi fellow shooters, If you’re buying this crimped 10 round mag then you most likely live in a 10 round state. Contrary to what Omar’s one star review claimed. I believe it’s actually extremely easy and quick to convert this back to a 30 round magazine once you physically move to a pro 2a locale. I ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Do not buy
Hi all, if you are from California this Mag is not a good idea. Instead of drilling a hole and sticking something in it so it becomes a 30 round mag, they decided to crimp it. That means if I move to another state I will be unable to use the mag as a 30 round mag. I am assuming they did this to save...

Defective!!

by pissandvinegar, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on August 25, 2021
Do not buy, they are crimped & absolutely useless! I didnt know from the photo or description. New to these so all out of the package & cant return. Buy local until these guys get their sh!t together. Btw, they shipped my rear sight & foregrip by usps; it's still sitting in a facility somewhere until the post office has enough staff to process my 'shipment'. Not this site's fault on the shipping but offer more shipping options! I'm buying elsewhere & those mags are in the trash. Great job optics! ps - this review got flagged for using the word with an exclamation point in it.

good product, not amazing but not bad either

by Ken, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on July 17, 2021
I've always had plastic/polymer AR mags from DD, Magpul, and Hexmag. Then I decided to try a steel one. This mag feels pretty solid. I think it's a good product, nothing special but definitely serves its purpose.

Great 10 rd mag

by Charleybangbang, from NY, United States Written on January 14, 2021
I have bought seven of these magazines from Optics Planet and have never had an issue with these. Easy to load never had a jam and for the price you can't beat it. Especially when you live in New York where everything is 10 Rounds. I would recommend this to anyone. Made well
Pros:
  • A solid mag for a good price
Cons:
  • haven't found one yet

Great Product

by Matthew, from CA, United States Written on January 31, 2019
Excellent product for people in restricted states. Excellent followers, sturdy body, there are excellent for bringing to a class especially if you have regular mag pouches, and the short body 10 round magazines don't stay in.
Pros:
  • Steel
  • full size body
Cons:
  • where you live still sucks
Best Used for:
  • anything that uses GI mags
