Luckyshot's Review of Duramag 7.62x39mm Stainless Steel 5 Round Rifle Magazine

The mag has a plastic (or polymer) follower which is non binding. The mag has letoff of the spring to allow it to be inserted into the gun when loaded to capacity (5 rounds). The mag is "drop free" in my CMMG receiver. (another plus)
Pros:
  • Non tilt follower, and drop free
Cons:
  • Stainless steel? A magnet will stick to mag body.
Best Used for:
  • Hunting, bench shooting
