Most Helpful Positive Review MY NUMBER 1 OPTIC PLATE
The Calculated Kinetics plate is much thicker and raises the optic keeping the irons from cluttering the optic window. Where the C&H plates allow the mounting screws to pass through the optic and plate into the slide, the CK plate has hardware that attaches the plate to the slide and then separate hardware that attaches the optic to the plate. Ordinarily I would see the added hardware as a negative but the robustness of this plate and its well construction and neat fit to the optic and slide are so excellent that use this dogleg plate as my NUMBER 1. IT ALSO CAME WITH MOUNTING SCREWS, YES BLU...

High and Solid

by Robbie R, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on August 23, 2024
Item is exactly as described. Packed well with all the needed parts and more. It is still not clear why the Holosun does not make their own item to achieve what this plate does. It makes the 509T red dot sit very high up and most people may dislike that. But I expected that prior to the purchase, so I was not disappointed. Running it on my Glock G47 MOS. You need to also buy suppressor height sites so that you can have a backup to the DOT. Of course, no backup is going to work if the glass fogs up or cracks.
Pros:
  • Fits well
Cons:
  • height
Best Used for:
  • Holosun 509T
  • Glock 47 MOS

Olight Osight Optic

by Jin, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on June 2, 2024
The Optic itself is quality made (MOA) is bright and clear and glass tent and clarity is decent in appearance the optic also has a tendency to move a bit off center after 100+ rounds. While the unique charging ability in the optic market is relatively new. Depending on the adapter plate used charging becomes an issue with this model optic such as with the (Calculated Kinetics Mos RMR) Dogtag Optic Plate for glock 45 mos. The charging cuff will not fit correctly and would require the user to remove the entire optic to charge it. One other thing to touch on is the instant on feature as most law enforcement/Security officers are constantly in motion as are most individuals who carry. Instant on seems to be a needless feature considering that your optic will always be on and not really saving any power based on the instant on sensitivity and the time in which it takes to turn off. If it was being used specifically as a firearm for the range and often stored when not in use then this feature would make more sense for this instant on future to work at its best but again based on the sensitivity of the optics instant on feature and taking 10+ minutes to turn off it seems a unnecessary feature. In conclusion I give this product a 3 based on Unadaptability/field performance/reliability and feature necessity.
