This vise block is very heavily built and fits the AR perfectly. The gas tube alignment pin is a nice touch. It worked just fine for my latest AR build, and is a good price with fast delivery from Optics Planet.

I ordered these things, a gas block with a screw not a pin, and a vise tool for the receiver. They were bother perfect for me and allowed me to build an AR-15 with a 20-inch barrel. They were both perfect for my needs and at a good price and fast delivery.

Upper vise block clamp

The one I received was faulty right out of the package it came in , wouldn’t even close on my upper receiver , I tried it several different ways , I even contacted the manufacturer , Wheeler , they practically called me a liar , do yourself a favour and buy a different brand , I definitely don’t recommend Wheeler.

This work great. The gas tube alignment rod was great for lining certain barrel nuts. Ligh weight affordable. Didn't want to spend too much money . I recommend this to all casual builders.

It does what is claims to do.
Note: It does not close completely on Aero EPC9 uppers, even with the LRBO removed. The product says only milspec (right and left handed) uppers, believe it.
