Rear shooting rest
The Caldwell deluxe universal unfilled rear shooting bag works pretty good. I filled mine with kitty litter but after using it I noticed that I could have filled it a little more because the bunny ears seemed to flop once it was being used. I thought I had enough in it (once the bottom was bowed from what I thought was over-filled) but I was wrong. It worked pretty good but would be better if a little more material was added so it would support the stock better. Even with the bag not being full, it worked very well and the leather on the top grips well without harming my gun. Overall I'm happy...

bit tight, but expecting it to get better with use
The bag is a bit tight, like slightly overfilled. It is also a little smaller than I expected. The price was good though, and it hold the stock of my rifles well enough. Happy with the value of this rear shooting bag.

Caldwell rear bag
The bag is well made. I bought the medium, maybe I should have bought the high for the rifle I'm using it with. I had to add fill a couple of times after I used it cause it tended to settle. I used some extra crushed walnut shells and had to work them down the ears with carpenter's pencil to pack it in. The bag is, doesn't mar the gun, still getting used to it.

- I bought the unfilled, so you have to deal with the filling which isn't that hard.

Falling apart after just a few uses
I may have just gotten a bad one. I have a few Caldwell products and they all work pretty well. This little bag is leaking sand after about 8 trips. I am NOT hard on my equipment.

Caldwell Rear Bag
Great product. It came filled and it continues to hold its shape nicely. Supports butt-stock well and allows your rifle to recoil naturally. This product is a must when you're sighting in a rifle after mounting a new scope. This product is so much more convenient than those that require filling because those bags are both difficult to fill and are prone to leaking. The Caldwell rear bag has a velcro backed cover to the fill area.

THIS IS A QUALITY MADE FILLED BAG AT A VERY GOOD SALE PRICE HOWEVER IT WAS A BIT SMALL FOR MY RIFLES. RETURNED IT WITH OUT A PROBLEM AND OPTICS PLANET PAID FOR THE SHIPPING, FOR A LARGER MEDIUM BAG. deluxe rear bag
very stable, really allows the stock to slide back with no friction, matched with the Caldwell ROCK front brace, makes shooting sub MOA a breeze. Shipping was fast and free. I cant wait to take it with me to South Dakota for prairie dogs!
