Bought these for my wife as part of an effort to get her into shooting. She is picky beyond belief, but had no problems mounting the rifle. We were both impressed with the performance. Unit has an led power indicator instead of auto-off. I often see guys showing up at the range with dead muffs, so one or the other is a must-have. Great value here. Good present for mom

Great entry level ear muffs. They were a present for my mother. She now makes sure she never goes shooting without them. The fit and finish was exactly like all Caldwell products. They're a little larger than your slim models, using with handgums.

Great hearing protection

This is my first electronic hearing protection. They work great! I can hear noises around me, but it blocks out the noise when target practicing. Great and affordable product. I was skeptical of the electronic protection, but it allows you to hear what you need to hear and blocks out the harmful noises.

  • shooting/range day

Range shooter

Bought these because of the low profile and resonable price. Very happy with the performance. You can turn volume up and her the slightest noise, but when weapon fired it instantly protects your hearing. Good job Caldwell.

Caldwell E-Max Hearing Protection

I go to a range where there are a lot of high power rifles and pistol firing at the same time on 25 stations. Sounds a little like a war zone. No problem product performed nicely. Would highly recommend this product for general use. Have not tested the electronic hearing detection component is the woods but seems to work.
