Most Helpful Positive Review Best Bang For The Buck!
I recently purchased the Cladwell Es-85 Electronic Hearing Protection model #162697 to replace an old set I had made by another company that died on me one day at the range. After looking at various other models in the StL area I chose this one. I had the opportunity to tru on a fellow shooters set at a local range. We were shooting .45's & .308's and the sound levels were greatly reduced by these. I was truly impressed. I went home that afternoon and ordered a set from OpticsPlanet.com. Great Inexpenisve Electronic Hearing Protection

I am a new shooter who only gets out 1-2 times a month. These were inexpensive and work well. No problem with finding the battery compartment as others have had. Overall - very satisfied for the price I paid.
Pros: Cost, Performance
Cons: Low End Construction

Pros: Enhances hearing of voices and normal noise, protect user from any loud noises. Folds to compact size, uses AA batterys, has automatic shut off if you forget to turn them off, comfortable fit.
Cons: No cons at all, SUPER PROTECT AT A SUPER PRICE

Caldwell ES-85 hearing protector

Good overall value ... would recommend for shooting range usage.
Pros: Great for the gun range. Allows you hearing protection while shooting while listening to normal conversation.
Cons: Big and somewhat bulky.
