Solid Platform
I recently purchased the Lead Sled FCX Rest for stability during load development. Some assembly needed but simple and straight forward. The platform is very stable and the adjustments hold very well. Used with several different rifles from 18-26" barrel lengths. I would purchase again.

Caldwell FCX is the best!!
I have a gun shop in south Louisiana. I shoot a lot of rifles after mounting scopes and or new sights. I have a Caldwell lead sled, older model. While I was in Galveston a couple weeks ago I saw the FCX series. Read reviews on it and ordered one. This is the ticket, I set this thing up and shot 338 Lapua magnums down to .22 magnums. Rock solid sled. I use a trigger pull device after the gun is in the sled, no human error, and squeeze the trigger with the device. It will put bullet holes in bullet holes. I have used it against my shoulder and there is minimal felt recoil. I just wish I had this 20 years ago.

Best Lead sled out there!
Purchased this leadsled recently and I was totally surprised at how good it is. It is heavy enough without the sand bag but not too heavy you can carry it around. It gives you precise adjustments for sighting in your rifle that's way better than any other lead sled I've used

Best Shooting Rest
Absolutely love this rest. Micro hand adjustments make zeroing your rifle easy. The weigh of the sled combined recoil reducer tamed my 30-06 with 180 grain ammo. Don't hesitate to buy this great product if you can find a deal!

This model of Caldwell lead sled is perfect for fine tuning a zero for any rifle. If you have had trouble fitting your rifles with 20 round mags or pistol grips this sled is for you. I also highly recommend this for long range shooting.

Lead Sled FCX
I've used this fire control tool for all my bolt weapons and it was extremely useful for fast, precise crosshairs alignment for my Christensen Arms 300wm. The carbon fiber wrapped barrel and and stock fit extremely well on the rack.
Along with the included weight bag, I purchased a 25lbs heavy canvas tripod bag from the local camera shop to reduce the recoil of the sled.
All the guys at the range got a kick out of this piece of equipment. They used it to their total satisfaction and we're talking about old timers with plenty of real time experience.
It's my opinion that this tool delivers maximum accuracy potential. Pay a little more and buy this upgraded version.

Solid for AR
Solid rest for AR's with 30 rd mag. The Micro adjustment arm thingy is a little cheesey. You can actually lock that down and remove the arm completely if it becomes a nuisance. Elevation adjustments are quick and simple. Lead prices being what they are, I use two 40# dumbbells and the thing doesn't budge. Good adjustment range for elevation . Overall, I'd buy it again.

Caldwell Lead Sled FCX Shooting Rest 820444
I would highly recommend the serious shooters that shoot alot of reloads and use a bench to shoot from.
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy to get back on target after each shoy.
Cons: A little pricey but very good quality as all Caldwell products.

Lead Sles FXC
To me if your going to shoot a lot you may as well get the best. It makes sighting in my rifles a lot faster and easier, I think saving me ammo.
