Most Helpful Positive Review excellant rest and recoil reducer
Although the lead sled plus does everything it claims , I'm returning for a refund as i do not support factories moving to China and ruining the American economy. Pros: does what it says Cons: made in China

Great for range use

The caldwell lead sled has been a great addition for range use! Just remember you need to add some weight to the bottom of the sled for it to work, but other than that what comes in the box is fantastic. I could not recommend it more for range use!

the lead sled plus works great with the round metal wieghts. Recoil is held to a minimum. my only negative is side to side adjustment is lacking and takes some time to set up your aim because of it. other wise a great product.

You can add enough weight, to make my 300 wby feel like a 22. Good vertical adjustments.This lead sled is a grate training tool for young shouters, it takes the scare out of the kick, so you can concentrate on hold and trigger pull,which is what it's all about.

  • All day shooting & sighting in

Caldwell Lead Sled

As advertised - easy transaction product arrived in perfect condition. Used the sled to sight in my .270 winchester, AR10, and Gammo pellet gun. Worked very well - within 3 rounds I was dead center. Had to make slight adjustments with the AR due to the pistol grip, but easy mod.

338 Win Mag

I've never looked forward to an a$$ kicking, checking my slug gun zero won't be doing that anymore and if it weren't so expensive I'd shoot my 338 more since I got the sled. A home made strap over the barrel helps to return to zero faster.

Great product for sighting in rifles and shotguns or muzzleloaders. Best price of one I found through this site*Better price than 3 other sites I checked and stores I had been to and also FREE SHIPPING which was a plus. Purchased two 25 pound steel weights to compliment it from a local Sears to ensure it stays in place while shooting.

Nice gun platform. Well made. However single bar gets in the way with AR still pistol grip rifles. This may be a problem. If so, purchase the double bar model. Otherwise woks well and does the job.

Great gun rest. I wish it came with weights, because it moves a little if you don't have enough weight. However even with just a little weight it took a fair amount of recoil. Now I have to buy some weight though.

it works if you do a little adjusting, No 30 round Mags in AR's

I live in comie fornia so i only get to use 10 round mags in my AR's. The Mags still hits the bar. So I cut a piece of 3/4 plywood and laid it under the boot for the butt stock. Works great now. Its solid with the lead weights. Forget the 30 round mags. Won't work.
