Excellent value in a "big 'H' bag" type rest
I've been shopping all the big 'H' type shooting bags and had narrowed it down to a Caldwell and another brand.
At the price OpticsPlanet sells this bag for, and the excellent free shipping, ordering the pre-filled bag was the obvious choice for me.
In a pre-filled bag, you get a filler that Caldwell is happy with as far as weight and moisture absorbtion/retiention. Had I just ordered an unfilled bag and filled it with sand, it would have cost additional time and money... and might not have worked out as well.

Way to long
I like the height of this bag but when I rest my stock in the groove, the one end of the bag is against my shoulder and the other end is blocking my access to the trigger. If it were four inches shorter, I would love it.

great shooting bag
Keeps rifle rock solid. Very portable. Paired with a solid bi pod, shot groups tightened up dramatically.

Not stitched well
I used masons sand to fill the bag which is a fine sand. I expected minor leakage but it is bad enough that it leaves a little bit of sand everywhere. The fill neck stitching unraveled while filling. I also bought the DeadShot Shooting Rest Bags, Front and Rear Combo. They hold the sand great. I am going to assume this bag was made on a Monday hangover or Friday clock watching day. If I had used something a bit courser to fill it I would have given it 4 Stars. (I used some silicone to seal the fill neck)

Caldwell Tech driver shooting bag
An excellent, easy to use shooting bag. Admired them from afar for years at the range. Decided to take the plunge. I have a Lead Sled, and a shooting rest. I thought this might be easier to use. To me it is easier, quicker to use with various types of rifles. Absolutely recommend if you only can have one rest. Caldwell bag + OpticsPlanet = satisfied customer.

Rock solid shooting rest. Heavy to lug too far from the truck, but it locks the gun in place well.

Shootin' Bag
Works as you would expect. I purchased the "filled" bag which was helpful as the filling it light yet compacted enough to get a good rest on. Would certainly recommend. Good size and it has the ability to move and rotate for larger mags if needed.

Great Rifle Rest
I purchased this rifle rest after my old Caldwell wore out after several years of service. I love this new bag, longer and holds your rifle much more secure. Having the option of ordering it filled was a bonus. Would definately recommend this bag for the serious bench shooter!

Really nice shooting rest
I bought the filled one and honestly could not be happier that I did. Very stable and excellent for sighting in my rifle, doing some long range shots, or having a rest for my boy to shoot off of. Just get it, you won't be disappointed.

Caldwell shooting bag
Finally, I've found a bag up to the task. Feels lightweight but it is stiff enough to keep its shape. Very well made, stitching is with heavy duty thread and with the fill from the vendor it's nice and plump. Overall it's the best bag I've used.
