Great vise for general maintenance and some gunsmithing. Wouldn’t advise using it for anything that requires significant torque

I have used a magazine vise block for years. Cleaning routine maintenance and builds.
This helps hold both ends for torque of the barrel to get the proper spacer sizes, and I feel it is definitely a more accurate torque.

When I received my Tipton Ultra Gun Vise, it had been badly damaged in transit...destroyed, basically, because it was unusable. I submitted my claim to Optics Planet, including a description and photos of the damage, and they issued me a refund. I wholly recommend Optics Planet, but I do not recommend this vise. Aside from the damage, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the vise, mainly in regard to its look and feel. It seemed "cheap and clunky," which I know is purely subjective, but I was not impressed, particularly with the plastic knobs. It was recommended by a major online creator who is a firearms and ballistics expert (the primary reason I bought it), and it may well be a very good vise, especially for scope mounting (the reason I bought it), but I didn't care for it. Perhaps if I'd had a chance to use it, I would have a different opinion; I'm sure that my feelings are somewhat biased by my disappointment at receiving a damaged item. Nevertheless, I will be looking for different vise to replace it.

Simple easy set up better than my older version with a better feel

Great vise. Lots of adjustments and movable vises. Holds everything , AR models , all rifles, and crossbow. Use it for mounting scopes , Red dots and all accessories . Also great for cleanings. It's like an extra set of hands.Very secure ,decent weight for stability . Vises have non marking rubber pads .Should have got one long time ago !

This gun vise is easy to use and comes in handy when working on or cleaning my. Works with AR's, riffles, and shotguns.

Makes working on and cleaning my AR so much more easier. Very easy to put the vise together with or without the provided instructions.

This is a great vise, found it very sturdy and great for mounting scopes. metal frame that also forms the legs gives confidence, and the plastic components don't feel cheap, they're very well made. You're able to adjust the various parts along the frame as well as the pads to fit whatever firearm you're working on as well as get it level. Well made and versatile.

I'll preface by saying that this item wasn't what I expected. I was expecting it to not be so stiff to adjust. I wasn't thrilled about the adjustment knobs. It was a lot of work to try and get this thing to hold things the way I expected. I returned it for credit. I was using this on an AR so I'm not sure if it was the firearm or the vise. It's not completely unusable but just wasn't for me. It's also kind of large and hard to store. Just my thoughts
