If the sight is difficult to move the slide will begin to cant as pressure is applied as the pusher does not hold the slide in a completely rigid position. It needs “shoe” like to ones used with the MGW sight pusher to assure that the slide will not cant.
Probably will work if sight does not require significant pressure
