I've owned the military versions for quite some time now and have never been disappointed. They've seen extreme amounts of rugged environments, dragged through the dirt, smacked against rocks, and have withheld throughout. This new version is one that I have been waiting for without any tridium and built even more rugged, dare I say... This thing is built like a tank and could probably survive being run over by one.
