I've owned the military versions for quite some time now and have never been disappointed. They've seen extreme amounts of rugged environments, dragged through the dirt, smacked against rocks, and have withheld throughout. This new version is one that I have been waiting for without any tridium and built even more rugged, dare I say... This thing is built like a tank and could probably survive being run over by one. At the price point, I believe it's a steal for a high end Compass you'll own the rest of your life!
Solid compass
This is a well made compass-the nylon strap is surprisingly comfortable I almost forgot that I had it on-I didn’t give it 5 stars because it is not Tritium filled - solid brass with good straps as well- it’s nice, small and unobtrusive - so far it seems very accurate - hoping it will last a while-I like it
