Most Helpful Positive Review works good
I have only used it one time so far, but have been impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. Does what it's supposed to do. Getting it was the hardest part, everyone was out. Optics Planet was great about informing she they expected it. IMO, the reason they were hard to find is pro a ly due to the Port Slowdown. It is made in China.

Instantly Triple your surface area

Although named "Jerky Rack", this well made set of grates will at least triple your surface area of your Camp Chef. Making Jerky is made easy, but also the ability to do bacon, burgers, sausages, and even ribs. I have been using these for everything (including cold smoking cheese) -- must have accessory!

Works great

For jerky they work great. Will be trying them on ribs soon. They give you a lot more smoking room also you can just use 2 and get another layer of pork shoulders also. Not much else to say. But a good deal here

Must Have For Jerky!

Does a great job on a large batch of jerky, but these shelves are really nice for extra racks of ribs and chicken when a big crowd is anticipated or when you want to throw some extras in the freezer. My advice: BUY! You won`t be sorry.

Awesome rack!

I had been using some throwaway mesh sheets and cake cooler racks to get two levels of jerky on my grill. What a hassle! This rack is awesome! Just finished cooking almost 12 lbs (uncooked) of jerky from a peeled beef knuckle at once. This is well made, has 1/4" mesh on the racks so nothing falls through and fits perfectly in my PG24 grill! As always, spray them with PAM before cooking and nothing will stick. Also, leave about 3 or 4 inches of airflow space at the back of the racks as the hot air comes up there on it's way to the smokestack and I got some charcoaled jerky due to that. I like the possibility of cooking about 8 racks of baby backs so I can have a real backyard party for lots of folks!!

  • Perfect size mesh for jerky.
  • Trays can slide out to turn stuff over without removing them.

  • Jerky - Lots of it!
