Adds storage and improves stability.
The shelf adds convenient storage below the grill, but also vastly improves stability. This will fit 24-inch pellet grills. You will need to loosen the four legs to allow them to move around to accommodate installing the shelf. Tighten the four shelf bolts and then re-tighten the grill legs and all will fit just fine. I also recommend using the cardboard insert to rest the shelf on during installation to prevent scratching if you are installing on a concrete patio or similar potentially rough surface.
