Still have not received the safe. I was told it will be shipped Dec 20, 2013 from manufacture, I have called numerous of times still no word.
Cannon- I believe they are the problem... not sure tho.
OpticsPlant.com- Customer Service seem nice and helpful but I call them and still same answer. Getting no where. That being said this is my first buy experience with them and it has not gone well at all.

Purchased this safe after doing a fare amount of research on safes. I would have to say this is the best bang for your buck. First, the fire rating that Cannon places on their safes is a true rating. Other safe companies place a rating on that is not accurate. Cannon actually places sensors throughout the inside of the safe and then places the safe is a large oven. Other companies either test a smaller safe with similar proprieties and label the larger safes with the same fire rating or do a quick flash heating. Also, some people might complain that this safe has no locking bolts on the hinge side. However, the way Cannon designs their safe the door extends inside the frame of the safe. So when you close the safe door there is actually about 1.5" of the door that sits / overlaps on the inside of the door frame so there is no way anyone could pry that side of the safe open. Other than that the interior finish of the safe is great and holds a ton of stuff. I have nothing bad to say about this product.
Pros: Great fire rating, large bolts, lots of space, good quality
