DO NOT buy this......
I tried to cancel this order before it even came considering how overpriced it was. Unfortunately, I was told cancellation was not possible so I kept the order active. SNAP SAFE made by HORNADY is the way to go. Same product but better made and HALF the price. To make matters worse....This thing showed up to my house broken into pieces. Silica everywhere and completely dented. In conclusion: sub par quality, over priced, and no guarantee it even shows up in usable condition. Don’t buy this.

Likeable little guy
It may be incorrect that some think this is "rejuvenated" by using an electrical current. Not so. On the bottom it gives the appropriate oven temperature and runtime to reactivate the pink crystals back to blue, and I have learned this will function for about ten years. Good news. It is also rather effective in a closet where I store optics: a hygrometer there shows a drop of an average of 10%+ all the time, in the sweltering humidity we've had around here lately, with dew points at or just below the temperature. Good product. One might even consider getting a few extras...

Works but requires constant recharge
I bought this for my 22 Gun safe. It works as advertised and it's very easy to see when it needs to be recharged, but i found that i need to recharge it every week or so. I have a dehumidifier running constantly in the room so i can't beleive there is that much humidity, but otherwise it works well.
