Remington 1100 works fine no issues. have older 1100 from the '80s no drilling no dimples and magazine tube it's a cheaper option to have the ability to put extra weight on your shotgun for trap shooting or for tactical to hold more shells you can also block off tube and just put rolls of nickels for weight mimics a over under more this way. But at the end of the day who doesn't want to hold more rounds.
