Outstanding choke ! - Carlson's Choke Tubes Rooster Ported, Beretta/Benelli Mobil 12ga Early Season

This is the Early Season choke & worked well with multiple different loads. It was tested with a Beretta A300 Outlander 12ga. I tried it with 3 different target loads, Rem Gun Clubs & Fed Target loads & Rem. Nitro 27's all were 2 3/4 #8 1 1/8oz lead. I tried Rem. Pheasant Loads 2 3/4 #4 1 1/4oz lead 1330fps. I also had Browning Wicked Wing 3" 1 1/4oz #2 Steel 1450fps. All patterned were decent and even.... The best was Fed. Heavy Field 2 3/4 #6 1 1/8oz lead.... That pattern was exceptional with the combination I have. I did not have the choke come loose every couple shots. I DID NOT have a box of Win. Pheasant loads that the choke was designed for. I was kinda skeptical that the patterns from the target loads would be weak, due to the small shot, but they were not. They were nice, even and POA. I found that all the different shells that were tried, all of them had the same point of impact. One didn't shoot to the left and the next shoot to the right, or up and down. I'm not sure what the rings inside are for, they say to keep down fliers & keep patterns even.... I think they nailed it ! The porting really didn't make any difference to me, maybe it makes a difference for patterns. I'm not a fan of ported chokes, but this one I do like.... All In All, what I found was.. with all the different shells I tried from different manufactures, I would not hesitate to take this choke to the field fo whatever i was going to hunt..... Who needs the $30 box of shells that this choke was designed for ??
I would not shoot slugs through this choke !!! I don't hunt deer anyway.....
