Should be a great addition, only main complaint is it’s covered in tooling oil or something similar. Stained my hands worse than a dirty gun. Besides that, it helps a lot with recoil on heavier loads that are 1,350+ fps or slugs.

I was hesitant about adding this to my Benelli but am glad I did. More for the look, as I do not notice any recoil difference. If you are looking for decibel reduction, this ain’t it. It is noticeably louder, but I still think it is a great purchase and would recommend to others.

Due to medical conditions recoil needs to be managed effectively and this muzzle brake performance is excellent.

This simple replacement for a choke tube has reduced recoil by close to 50%. Only a minor difference with #7 or #8 Lowbase. But with #6 through 3" slugs it really makes it easier to follow up.
Pros:
- Easy to install and remove and huge reduction in recoil
Best Used for:
- High power shotgun shells
- High power shot shells and slugs

My first experience with Carlson choke tubes. Lots of experience with Briley, Mueller, Extreme and others with my clay target shotguns. They have a good rep in the waterfowl and upland game arena as well as the tactical shot gun space. Benelli ships the M4 with a modified choke which with 7 1/2 or 8 shot would be ideal at about 40 yards. In this gun I’ll shoot 00 or #1 buckshot as primarily a home defense weapon so I’ve opted for a cylinder choke thinking targets in much closer range. This choke seems to pattern well at closer range and there is definitely less recoil than with a flush mount choke. Only downside is its weight. It’s on the heavy side, but in a short barreled gun that is less an issue. I’m happy with its construction, fit and performance
Pros:
- rugged, reduces recoil, better pattern for closer targets
Cons:
- Weight on the end of your barrel
Best Used for:
- Spreading the pattern with heavy loads

Looks great on my Panzer M4 (Benelli clone). Noticeably reduces felt recoil with heavy loads. Helps control muzzle climb for follow up shots. Perfect fit and finish. Barrel threads are super smooth, makes it easy to remove for cleaning. Carlson’s definitely makes some really nice stuff!
Best Used for:
- Tactical, competition, home defense

As per IWI ( Israeli Weapons Industries) I bought this muzzle brake for my Tavor TS12 semi auto shotgun. Specifically because it can handle double OO. & slugs. This shotgun is primarily for home defence and wild animals. Mainly bears.
The muzzle brake installed easily. Looks good. I'll know more when I run the weapon.
Best Used for:
- For me home defence. And this type of muzzle brake was specifically called for.

Well made, breecher front (with teeth) made it look mean but didn't feel needed so went with flat front (without teeth).
Easy to install but haven't had time to check for any reduction in recoil or flash yet.
