Most Helpful Positive Review Fantastic Binoculars!
I spent many days researching the various brands of imported binoculars (yes, they are made in China to Carson's specs). I also went to several department stores to compare brands. Unfortunately I could not find these locally, so I had to work from memory. When I unpacked these and compared them to my Pentax porros these were brighter and sharper. The pentax bins were 12X but these seemed closer in brightness to my Leitz 10x60's. Around dusk, these bins really shine. They also do very well at night for astro viewing. Unbelievable Value!!

I compared the 10x42 HD Carson's side by side to my Vortex Razors that cost $1000 & I could not tell any difference. I thought that maybe I was missing something so I had a few of my buddies do a side by side comparison without telling them anything about the price of either pair. Neither of them could tell a difference. In my opinion these are the best value on the market today for binoculars. Save yourself a bunch of money & go with the Carson's. I brought a pair of 10x42's & 10x50's & still had less money invested than one pair of Vortex Razors which I returned for a refund. Optics Planet was fantastic to deal with. Great pricing & very quick shipping. I could not be happier.

Fantastic Binoculars!
