great binos
Great binos. Am used to using 8x50 porro prisms, these are much smaller and (somewhat) lighter than I was expecting. They feel good in the hands. Prime use is for astronomy, the lens clarity excellent.
These were at the upper level of my budget but am very happy with the purchase. Only con - no lens caps supplied so if you're in dust / sand be sure to buy a cleaning kit.
Overseas shipping was quick, with an easy verification process for the international purchase.

Very good, but...
These bins are exceptionally clear and bright, but some CA is still visible, especially when the image is not in perfect focus. Might be bothersome for some birders.
I switched to the ED glass model which is very similar, but without tbe CA issues. No reddish halo when the image is not in focus.

Carson binoculars
I was impressed with my Carson binoculars. The clarity of the lenses is great. I really like the neck strap and shoulder harness, great for going hunting. Excited about using these this fall for hunting.
