I carry this in my assault pack for an easy way to make a fire during the day. You use it just as you would a magnifying glass to burn an ant, but about 3 feet above the ground. You'll have fire in no time.

What a disappointment. This does NOT come with the frame that the writeup states. It flops around like a sheet in wind. I will have to build a frame for this Fresnel lens to make it function correctly. Only then will I be able to determine if it's even functional. Pros: Relatively clear optics, ...
