Most Helpful Positive Review Good Binocs for the cost
Bought these for easy-carry, no big deal to damage or lose. Minimum focus is less that 8 feet, making them great for birds and butterflies. Maximum focus depth of field is about 30 feet to infinity. Also really handy to keep around the house to grab and view through windows. Pros: lightweight, good depth of field Cons: optics are fine, but not top of the line

Small, clear and inexpensive!

by Turbohawk, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 27, 2018
I've become an optics snob of sorts but when I travel I HATE taking $1000 optics to locales that are just begging to be "lifted". So a friend told me about these lil beauties! Yes, they aren't the clearest, they don't focus as finely or let in as much light as a $500 pair of optics...did I say they are small? Tiny. Fit in a pocket tiny. Avoid the 10X in this line though...This is the sweet spot so far.
Pros:
  • Small and cheap
  • clear for the money
Cons:
  • focus a lil imprecise
  • low eye relief
Best Used for:
  • sports
  • travelling
  • discrete survelliance

Unsharp

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on January 2, 2012
Granted, these binoculars were cheap. Nevertheless still below par. They are always unsharp. The right hand eye piece adjustor works independently of the focusing ring so that when focusing both adjustors need to be set.
Pros: Nothing much
Cons: Always unsharp

Carson 8x22 Scout Binoculars

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on September 15, 2011
These sweet little scouts can fit into a pocket, a side bag, and can be tossed into the glove box of a car.
Both my husband and I have a pair, and I am such a fan that I've purchased an additional three sets over the years as gifts --- twice for married couples retiring, and a third time as a wedding gift. They pack a wallop, as they say, for something this small. My brother teased that he and his wife were competing to see who could count the beats of a hummingbird's wings in 30 seconds, from 40 feet.
For those of us who just need to see to the other side of the mountain, these are the item --- and for the price!!!!!

Pros: Best buy for your money!
Cons: there are no cons for this product

These binoculars are perfect for educational usage. They don't have any fancy gizmos or special features and are pretty durable. I recommend for such a low price!
