Only used this a couple times since I got it. It gives a clean clear view. I got it to do target spotting on a range. At first I thought it did not magnified enough ... then I realized I was reading the scale on a ruler at 10 yards. Perfect for my purpose. I have not tested the waterproof feature yet ... but, it seems very well made ... I bet it is waterproof.
