The slider has a little bow to it, preventing it from making a clean catch of any bug that refuses to jump up on the slider and stay on the surface of the wall, floor or ceiling. This sometimes smashes the poor little bug.
But overall, it is the best catcher we have found! We have one for every room in our Costa Rica house!
Pros: Easily catches bugs, even hard to catch flies and scorpions.
Cons: Slider isn't fluch enough to cleanly catch everything without smashing it.
