Needs a different kind of battery system
My husband likes this magnifier but it needs different batteries because it goes through the tiny watch sized batteries very quickly.The 390/389 are very expensive. Even one or two AAA would be better.
Pros: It's good and easy to use
Cons: eats batteries like popped cord

I've used lots of magnifiers and this is the easiest because of the size, anount of magnification, reasonable weight, folding handle, and included LED light.
I'm older and increasingly find type too small or diagrams hard to read. This solve it. Only thing that would make it better would be a soft case. However, I had one lying around that fit.

the only suggestion would be to put a grip on the top so you could use it w/the other hand, otherwise this is a really good magnifier
