Good optically, can be diffcult to wear.
I got two of these (to keep in different places) for use when examining watch movements and inscriptions. The loupe itself is sharp and clear, but I find I can't make it sit in my eye-socket as I've done in the past with others: the rim is just too wide. I may spring for their headband!

I bought these to use at my shop, servicing automotive computers. Price was right, but for good reason. The lenses are cheap, and magnification is neither uniform nor evenly focused. They're better than cheap plastic lenses but that's not saying much. I did get one decent lens out of the three I ordered, but that's pretty poor odds. The rubberized ring is a plus. I think next time I'll spend a little more and get a higher quality loupe.

As I age, I find that I need these things more and more...this model is the easiest to use that I have found...the rubber ring really helps. Of course OpticsPlanet's great service and pricing can't be beat.

Good value, for less than $4 you've got a solid little loupe, sure, it's made out of plastic, but it's sturdy enough to do the job.

It does what it supposed to do, and works just fine. Made of hard plastic with rubber around base, worth all 389 pennies!
