great looking masrer of g series watch with the "blacked out" stealthy look. very rugged with triple sensors barometer, atmospheric pressure, and thermometer. Just be prepared that the negative LCD display makes it very difficult to almost impossible to read sometimes during normal to bright sun light, but it has a very good bluish light that makes it easy to read at night. I would definitely buy it again and have no regrets even with the negative display.

Watch is great all functions work as advertised very stylish...

Love the watch - my 3rd G-Shock after upgrading from first one 10 years ago, until I lost my 2nd one a month ago. Was looking for the black dial which is hard to find now that it appears Casio is moving on to watch arms for a majority of their G-shock watch designs. So get the digital dials while they last! Big buttons are a plus on this GW9400-1B. From a tactical perspective, I prefer the black dial to the gray so that if I forget to turn off the auto illumination for nighttime, the dial doesn’t inadvertently glow. Also, I think it shows up better for me in bright sun light, but it is entirely subjective preference. The one thing I dislike is that the user manual is too freakin’ small to read for my aged eyes. I practically need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. Also, a diagram of the watch with all of the listed features and indicators, with a parenthetical reference page number would be helpful (if I were Casio’s technical instructions writer).

Very functionally and easy to use. Love the light up option

I’ve been looking at this watch for several months, love that it has the compass It came in handy while navigating offline on one of my hunts (still recommend snagging a good compass for precise navigation) but for the general purpose of staying on course it does the job all while being attached to your wrist.
The backlight is nice which a large button and all the other features I have yet to try. I’ve owned and own several GSHOCKS they last longer than some of the other competitors in the heavy duty watch lineup in fact I have one from 11 years ago that’s still in use
