I have owned a Casio G Shock watch for 30 years. I used it for scuba diving, flying, water skiing, snow skiing and other activities which would have ruined other time pieces. Finally the rubber watch band and the rubber encasing the watch head began to disintegrate leaving only the metal watch with no watch band (the watch itself still works fine) so I ordered this watch as a replacement. Wow, 30 years has made a huge improvement in function, design and ease of use. This new watch is solar powered and keeps prefect time since it receives the atomic clock signals and re-calibrates as necessary every day (if needed). The back lighting is excellent and makes it easy to read even in total darkness. I will most likely never use most of the functions available on this watch but it will surely last the rest of my life and I really like it. It is also a really handsome watch with impressive looks (Note: the watch pictured on this page is not the ProTrek Atomic Solar Triple Sensor Watch.
