I purchased a 7.5” 300 AAC barrel from Optics Plantet in September for a pistol build. After almost 4 months of troubling shooting I was able to determine the issue has to do with the Barrel.
The gun would not reliably feed ammunition I tried several brands and loads nothing was reliable
It would either not feed or the LRBHO would not engage.
I tried several different buffer weights.
I replaced the gas system
Tried a different lower
Finally I decided to replace the barrel with a Balistic Advantage 8” . Once the barrel was replaced it tested it with the same ammunition and it ran flawlessly ( except the sub sonic which is no surprise since it is not supresssed)
