Will not cycle and can’t get a response from CBC on warranty claim
I purchased a 7.5” 300 AAC barrel from Optics Plantet in September for a pistol build. After almost 4 months of troubling shooting I was able to determine the issue has to do with the Barrel.
The gun would not reliably feed ammunition I tried several brands and loads nothing was reliable
It would either not feed or the LRBHO would not engage.
I tried several different buffer weights.
I replaced the gas system
Tried a different lower
Finally I decided to replace the barrel with a Balistic Advantage 8” . Once the barrel was replaced it tested it with the same ammunition and it ran flawlessly (...

Works fine
I have not any issues with this barrel. Cycles super and subs just fine, holds zero, all you can ask for at this price point.

Not Carbine Length Gas Sytem
Good budget barrel but the gas system is pistol length not carbine length. So I had to scramble to order a correct gas tube before my states ban on weapons and parts starts. More a hassle than anything. Anyway Optics Planet needs to correct the description.
