22LR Shotshells
The simplest way I can say this: these are excellent for rattlesnakes. At least the ones in Eastern Washington State. We use them in single action revolvers and they work just fine.
Best shot shell
I like the CCI brand. Their shot shells are a "must have" for me. Grew up around Black and water snakes. Now live, past 40 years, almost in pine tree woods. Not often, will get one too close to house. Never learned to pick snake up. Stomped couple inside over the years. Having option of shot shell for out of machete reach is HUGE relief for outside. My brother regularly visits mountain cabin where timber rattlers live. Shot shells much safer than 12 gauge. They have two kids so shot shell will do job safer. Rare event to see rattler but always a chance. Years ago, I blasted plastic bucket from snake range and was greatly surprised how big pattern was and penetration. .45 ACP. Although little $$. Safety is worth the cost. Also, not very easy to find at any price. Thanks for have them in stock!

Nice grouping at 3 yards. 1 shot and the snake was finished!!
