Fancy cci sv for double the price - CCI Ammunition Green Tag .22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Rimfire Ammunition

I picked up 200 rounds of the Green Tag to test out. I'd seen some good reviews on it floating around the internet, but most I feel were just sponsored content now that I've tried it. If this stuff were 50% more expensive than CCI SV, I would say it is worth it. It is definitely more accurate/precise than CCI SV, or any other CCI ammo I have. However, for the cost it’s very subpar. I’ve had better results from ammo like Fiocchi Range Dynamics and Norma Tac 22 (both are much cheaper than this). Even Norma Match 22 which has done very well for me is less expensive.

Feel free to try it out, your rifle may like it better than the two (Kidd 10/22 & CZ 457 VMTR) I’ve tested it with. It can definitely do 0.5 inch groups at 50 yards, but it will also throw more flyers than other ammo so averages were between 0.628 and 0.853. Not terrible, but for the price, not worth it.
