This things take out squirrel, crow, rabbitis and swamp rats i love this rounds i lnow I'm paying a little extra for the meat eater box but the good thing is the boxes fots in my ammo can tight and snug i have even used them on coyotes and fox there reliable not a single miss feed or light primer strikes there just good rounds all together

Classic Mini-Mags, just a change in packaging

These are the classic Mini-Mags I grew up plinking & hunting small game with. You really can't go wrong, they cycle well in my semi-autos & pump gun, & do quite nicely in my revolvers and single-shots.
I'm pretty serious about my 22 shooting, & I've tried probably 100 different loads out of 50 or so different guns.
If I see Mini-Mags available, it's a no-brainer to grab up a few boxes.
Only downside of this packaging is that it's not field-handy at all. It's 3 rows of 100-round plastic dividers (common to CCI & other rimfire hard-boxes) in a cardboard box. For the bench that's no problem, but out in the field going after critters means you're going to need a different container (or just throw 50 in your shirt pocket).

  • Accurate
  • Decent expansion
  • Great small game getter
Cons:
  • cardboard box isn't great for the field
Best Used for:
  • hunting small game
  • Plinking & target practice

My go-to 22 lr ammo

Shoots well. Very consistent. Hunting, or plinking. Good quality control. Good grouping in all my 22 lr rifles. No match ammo, but very accurate. Never had a problem with feeding/extracting. Optics planet has a very good price, and free shipping.

Great product

I own a Kel-Tec 33 pistol and it is very picky on the kind of ammo I can use with it. I tried several different kinds of 22LR ammo and I was getting very very frustrated with the gun misfiring on a regular basis I finally tried the CCI mini mag 22LR and that pretty much took care of the problem It works very well with the CCI mini Mag. I strongly recommend it
