Most Helpful Negative Review CGE Pro mount
Avoid this mount at all costs. Extremely uggy with poor control. You will inevitably have communication errors that disable the telescope and repairs take many, many months... god help you if it's not under warranty.... I give it one star just for the exceptional quality of the OTA... unfortunately...

Great telescope worst service by Optics Planet

Optics Planet totally dropped the ball on this sale. Two weeks after ordering the CGE Pro mount I was finally told that somehow the warehouse cancelled the order. There were communication problems right from the start.
I finally cancelled the order and ordered the mount from Hands On Optics and they shipped the mount the same day.
To make matter worst I received a call from a freight company several days after the cancelled order saying that they had a delivery for me from Optics Planet for the mount.
These people don't know what they're doing.

To fans of large telescope, this is the ultimate choice. It have a large 14'' Primary Mirror that can gather massive amount of light and resolution of 0.3 Arc second. The mount if autoguide can track with accuracy of around 1 arc second. If you are into serious astronomy or wanted to set up a small public observatory with permanent mounting, this is a very good choice. However the telescope is too heavy to be easily moved around (120kg Weight)
