Poorly designed mount and poorer customer service - Celestron CGEM DX 1100 11 inch Computerized Telescope

I have owned this telescope for slightly under a year, yet I shipped the mount back to the manufacturer, in November, at my own expense, both ways, for repairs (the mount spontaneously started pointing straight downward, and then refused to track) and there it has sat for almost three months already, with no contact with the manufacturer, other than that which I initiated

After spending over $4000 on the telescope, and nearly $7000, counting all of the accessories, I cannot honestly recommend this product, as I experienced mount problems for weeks prior to the final failure. And the customer service has been extremely poor in the three months since the mount has been back with them, with no status updates, other than, "your telescope is still on the repair bench", after I prodded them for an update.
