This is a fantastic telescope. This is my second Celestron telescope. My first scope was the Celestron NexStar 6se. I decided I wanted to move up to a professional telescope and still be portable. I think this is about the largest size that you can have while remaining portable. It exceeds all of my expectations. I highly recomend this product! Pros: Easy to use, performance is excellent! Cons: None so far!

Good all rounder. Excellent for astrophotography with wedge

This is a good astrophotography & visual scope. It is accurate & very stable. Breakable to 2 parts, It's not so heavy as each seperate part are manageable by 1 person. The price is reasonable for this quality scope. Worth to buy. Alt-Alz mode is a leisure to view sitting comfortable on chair.
Pros: Accurate, managable by 1 person
Cons: Need a good wedge for long exposure

Very user friendly. I was in awe of the detail of the moon even at the lowest power. Even taking pictures is amazing.
Pros: Easy to use even the dark
Cons: Not as portable as I thought

CPC 800 is a great buy!

This scope is an exact performer like my past CPC1100. It does not have the same light gathering or magnification as the 1100 but what it does better is portability! That makes a lot of plus factor! It is dead on with tracking and goto features are more than most will ever use. Well made and easy to understand for a amateur. This scope is a great buy hands down.
Pros: Ease of use and data base
Cons: None so far
