Easy to use
I use the scope sometimes for terrestrial viewing. This diagonal makes it possible. Its also vey nice to have the angle when needed for astronomical work. Good value.

Star Diagonal
This product was a big disappointment to me. It is improperly labeled as an ERECT IMAGE diagonal. It is NOT!
The description should read: 'Celestron 1.25" STAR DIAGONAL' because it reverses the image -- there is no prism to properly erect it -- only a 45 degree mirror which works fine for astro viewing.
Please correct this description -- OR -- add another product which really does provide an erect image WITH a prism in a 90 degree configuration (I should have known that this item was too inexpensive to provide this at the stated cost)
I will however keep it as a backup to my Vixen #5449 star diagonal.
