Super easy to put on, just like your protective cover. Need to make sure cap off your guide scope and as well as your imaging camera is "sun safe". Pretty cool, imaging but does take a little bit to get tuned an and focused as this is not night time. Maybe not NASA grade but for the cost and occasional use, this is the way to go.

Excellent Product!

The solar filter is of great quality and fits my NextStar 8SE perfectly. The included velcro isn't necessary. Highly recommended! Unfortunately there is no sunspot activity at the moment, but I can't wait to go check some out!
