Excellent for indoor 50 foot range.
I bought this scope to mount in my shooting box for 50 foot Bullseye shooting. The optics are bright and clear and the zoom length is perfect. At 36x zoom, I can focus on the center of the target, and see the X ring clearly. The focusing ring around the lens barrel makes it easy to adjust.
My scope is better on 100 yards
This thing is hard to focus and my scope is better on 100 yards. The tripod is flimsy so i bought a tripod for it before going to the range. I cannot even see a 308 hole on paper may be this is good for 25 yards. I will be returning this product as soon as I get time.

Celestron Spotting Scope
Perfect for light work at the shooting range. Although I switched out the tripod for a smaller footprint, the item as delivered is perfectly adequate. The rotating barrel design is especially welcome for the often awkward angles encountered in bench type seats.
