I was quite surprised by how much value I got for the price. The LCD screen is very clear, the focusing is easy and the depth of focus is better than most scopes that I used in college many years ago. I'm older now and have some vision issues in the form of vitreous floaters and begining cataracts. Looking through standard eyepieces exaggerates the floaters to where they are quite annoying. The LCD screen is wonderful and there is no trouble from the floaters at all! The quality of the images is great and the same goes for the printed pictures of what you are viewing. For the casual microscope user, especially if you have any vision problems, this is the neatest scope I've ever used. It's very well made and should give years of use. I especially like the ease of using the slide holder with the vernier position adjuster knobs. It also comes with a rigid case to protect it when not in use or for traveling. All in all I'm very pleased.
Pros: Easy to see LCD screen, built-in lighting, built-in camera, easy transfer of images to a computer for printing, practical range of magnification.
Cons: When on high power the objective lens partially blocks the upper light from lighting the target.
