Easy to use Microscope
I was quite surprised by how much value I got for the price. The LCD screen is very clear, the focusing is easy and the depth of focus is better than most scopes that I used in college many years ago. I'm older now and have some vision issues in the form of vitreous floaters and begining cataracts. Looking through standard eyepieces exaggerates the floaters to where they are quite annoying. The LCD screen is wonderful and there is no trouble from the floaters at all! The quality of the images is great and the same goes for the printed pictures of what you are viewing. cool microscope!
Had to send it back because the view screen faled after just a few days. I opted for a replacement and so far so good except the focus is a little rough at one point. This is a very nice microscope for the money,but,concerned about it's quality and useable life span. The ability not only to view on the built in screen but also to put photos onto your computer via a microcard is a realy cool feature! I do recommend this microscope. However if it wasn't for quality concerns I would give it an excellent rating

Celestron 44340 microscope
Awesome quality for the dollar spent, we have standardized on this product as it is very easy to use, provides high quality microscopy photos. would like to see a micron scale overlay, or graph on the lenz for judging particle size and I could not ask for anything more!

very easy to use and set up and a perfect gift for kids who are interested in science or biology, or who are just curious about the "little things"
