Works great just too big for small lenses - Celestron LensPen Optics Cleaning Tool 93575

This is made by a telescope manufacture for use on eyepieces, right? Why then is the pad the size that would be great for my digital SLR? It works easily and great on low magnification and wide field eye pieces but is not ideal for many high magnification eyepieces.

For example, it would probably work great on a TeleVue Nagler or Celestron Ultima LX which I think have big pieces of glass even for high magnification eyepieces but on an original Celestron Ultima series 7.5mm or 5mm it is simply too large. If it is to be used on these eyepieces it must be tilted at an angle and that is not how the instructions say to use it. (Will using it that way be abrasive to the lens coating? -- Is it safe to use at an angle?)

It looks like some other brands have multiples sizes. I'll probably pick up a small one in one of those other brands to use with my small lenses.

Still this works great and I would highly recommend it for all but very small lens surfaces.
Pros: Safely cleans and does a great job
Cons: Pad is too large for small high magnification eyepieces
