I use it mostly for astronomy and occasional views of high flying jets with their contrails. When I used the binoculars with the binocular mount, there was so much lateral vibrations that it was just about useless. I epoxyed both sides of the binocular mount (with some spare screws laid in with the epoxy) and let it set for 24 hours and now it is "rock steady". I can now enjoy the views without any vibrations at all. (Of course, you do need a good tripod that can handle the weight of the binoclars)
Pros: Nice views of the heavens; feels like a "space walk"
Cons: Flimsy binocular mount
