Low cost assessory for solar viewing - Celestron Telescope Solar Filters

Anyone who is considering purchasing a seperate Solar Telescope should try this filter on thier existing telescope. As soon as I received this product, I installed it on my 8" SCT and went outside to try it out. Wow! Fantastic views of the Sun and great pictures. I was very pleased. Now I do not need a seperate solar telescope. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in Solar Astronomy and astrophotography. The only reason I did not give it five stars was that Celestron needs to make a padded case for storage. I keep it in it's origional shipping box when not in use. I wanted to make sure the film element did not get punctured. Anyone who has or wants one of these filters, I recommend purchasing a padded storage device to protect the film lens. Other than that, I would give it five stars. A great inexpensive way to view the Sun!
